Our Latest News - March

March Update

Sunday work sessions continued, including the Secret garden, where plants were thinned and the area generally tidied up. The planting in the Sensory garden is in the process of being refreshed; sadly many plants have been stolen, including lavender which would have provided scent. The peace Garden has also continued to be developed.

The Garden Club for pupils at Castle Hill primary school restarted this month, beginning with pupils from years 3 & 4. They sowed seeds, weeded and tidied up after the winter. We were also pleased to take part in a ‘Grandparents Gardening’ event. Grandparents came and worked alongside their grandchildren, sowing seeds in the garden. We hope to repeat this event later in the spring.
