Our Latest News - August

August Update

A slightly quieter month for us, though Sunday meetings continued, and there was lots of watering and dead-heading to do. The town displays in red and white bloomed extremely well even in the hot weather conditions, and the display created by the British Legion at the railway station looked particularly good: a fine memorial tribute to fallen service men and women.

Judging of our annual Garden Competition took place; it was a pleasure to see the horticultural skills of our townsfolk, including the stunning display at Bridgeholme Cricket Club, and a number of new entrants.

Our monthly meeting took place as usual, and although this is a quieter month, there was much discussion of future plans.
